Excel Youth Zone and Kids Korps USA will HOST Servapalooza, thanks to the efforts of hundreds of youth and adult volunteers.We bring the community together with our many PARTNERS such as Kids for Peace, Volunteer San Diego, Volunteer Center Orange County, 40+ community organizations, the California Department of Education, Youth Service America, San Diego Unified School District, Julian Charter Schools, Day-McKellar Preparatory School, PeaceJam Foundation, local service organizations, dozens of youth groups and performers, and hundreds more public, charter and private schools. Together we bring a commitment to developing youth as community leaders and peace builders while making a difference in our community.

Excel Youth Zone (XYZ) engages youth in community service-learning projects in their classrooms and after-school clubs. Youth work inleadership teams to design, explore, and experience service projects to help meet community needs. XYZ service-learning experts empower youth through meaningful service, leadership tasks, educational enrichment and communication with special guest speakers/leaders from our local and regional networks. The average youth in Excel Youth Zone contributes 40 hours of service each year. In the past year, our youth gave almost 20,000 hours of positive youth power contributing over $390,000 in human resources to the community!

Kids Korps USA - Co-Host

Kids Korps USA is a national nonprofit youth volunteer organization that engages young people, ages 5 to 25, in community service through more than 1,200 projects planned and implemented annually. Our mission is to instill in America’s youth the spirit of giving while providing valuable education in leadership and responsibility. Kids Korps' 65 volunteer member chapters partner with more than 250 national and local non-profit organizations such as Habitat for Humanity, Special Olympics, Head Start Preschools, children’s hospitals, homeless shelters, senior centers, animal shelters and environmental agencies.
