Servapalooza has many ways to get involved to support youth and the community.  You too can be apart of the magic of and contribute $1,400,000 to youth and the community.

Here is how...

Participate in this Service-Thon

Servapalooza participants raise funds and pledge to do 10 service projects at the event like a walker would raise funds and pledge to walk 10K at a walk-a-thon.  On April 25, 2010, participants will serve their 10 projects in Balboa Park from noon to 4:00 at hands-on “Service Stations".  Participants serve 10 out of over 50 meaningful service projects at dozens of Service Stations in just four hours. 
Pre-registration for the service-thon is only $10 plus receive a stylish Servapalooza 2010 T-shirt.  (Registration with T-shirt at the event is $15).  You request  friends and family to sponsor your quest to serve 10 projects by pledging money to support youth and the community.  If you raise over $100 you can will prizes like passes to local attractions and raffle tickets. March in the Parade

Youth groups, schools and classrooms are encouraged to march in the parade and share your Wish for the World in our Parade of Wishes.  The parade is a chance to celebrate youth service and see all the wishes youth have granted this year through service.  Starting in January 2010, adults can find all the information for the free parade registration and a toolkit to grant wishes through service and make a Wish Banner for the parade.  For more information and to be added to our emailing list, just email info@servapalooza.net.

Host a Service Station

Community organizationswe invite you to host a Service Station to support your cause. 
What is a Service Station?
Service Stations are an opportunity to advocate for your cause, recruiting participants to volunteer for your cause and most importantly providing fun service activities to support your cause. Service Stations are organized by similar interest area: Environment & Animals; Health & Human Services; Youth, Education & Arts; and Hunger & Homelessness.  Apply now here.  Applications are due March 12, 2010.   For more information and to be added to our emailing list, just contact servicestation@servapalooza.net.
